Greetings all!

Bleh, took me ages to get around to typing up this thing. Anywhoo, I've been traipsing around the Australian countryside for about a week on the Easter break.
Well, traipsing as much as I could in a gold Toyota Avalon, anyway. xD

It was good to get out of the traffic a bit, I admit. And when we had to stop for some unusual roadworks (Blasting; the ground shook with a rather loud BANG.), I didnt mind that much. (As opposed to getting blown up or buried under a pile of rubble, anyway.)

Actually, there was quite a bit of stopping the Toyota. Waterfalls, herds of cows, truck cargo (Usually wool. EVERYWHERE.) and even tumbleweeds (Yes, you heard me, I still have a bag of the things somewhere in this room.) meandered across the road on many occasions, and we just had to stop and look.

Interestingly, quite a few motels out in the sticks had wireless broadband, so I wasn't too cut off from civilisation. Still, I'm a city girl at heart and when I saw places with no traffic lights I missed the urban sprawl a little.

Still, when we returned via Brisbane I got my little urban fix via a shopping spree at the factory outlet store there. 8D

But I'm back home now, and getting started on a new assessment for my course at TAFE. It's a book cover and a poster, multi spot and full CMYK printing processes.
Naturally, I chose a Pratchett and the one I've been reading recently; Soul Music.
Should be interesting to see how this turns out... I don't have much confidence on its artistic value, but perhaps a book I enjoy will motivate me to do a good enough job to pass this time.

Yes, my birthday on Friday the 27th. Nineteen! What an odd number. (No pun intended, honestly 8D) Probably going to be an odd year.
