Bacardi kept running and running.
The ominous slithering behind her grew closer and closer, and she could feel hot breath on the back of her neck... Suddenly a giant clawed paw pinned her to the grass and flipped her over on her back. "Greetings, mortal." The sound echoed in her mind as a scaled black nose obscured her vision. Bacardi spat out some dirt. "What the hell are you?" The voice laughed, and the nose drew back to reveal a horned head with burning golden eyes. "I? I am Peryite's Aspect of Order. But you may call me Hisk, if you like, mortal." Bacardi vainly struggled to get up. "Alright, fine, but what in Oblivion are you doing here?" Hisk's canines spread in a feral smile. "I suppose you can think of me as a parole officer, of sorts. I'm to keep an eye on you and make sure you bring order back to Tamriel, Dragonheart." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Will finish soon as I have the motivation to pick up the ink pot again.
